catch22girl | Scary thought

Fear sucks. Just saying. It's miserable out, the wind is picking up and its raining. I hope it snows soon because if I don't have to go to class I'll be a happy rachel.

Went to work this morning. Lights went out for an hour. Wheee! But got filing done, I work again friday 9-1. My class gets out around 10:30 pm tomorrow. I'm not getting up too early after *that*. I don't want to write any papers. I just want to work and try to do this senior project and just...let that be it. I'd call what I have burn out but that doesn't even do it justice. My teacher said that the third matrix would have been a better movie if it just had no dialogue at all. Having not seen the film yet, I can't be sure, but that sounds right. We were talking about how most films don't have characters anymore - the whole post modernism thing. It was really interesting. Then watched clips from Body Double by Brian DePalma - SO amusing. Some of the worst acting I've ever seen. And this 360 degree shot that is one of the worst shots in film history. It's so amusing.

I just had a few more thoughts...

I think Chloe is now in charge of FieldOps. See, this is why they need more Agents and less Analysts at CTU. Just saying.

I'm still confused about WHEN CTU became all about computer processing, I know they used to do some kind of investigative work outside of random technobabble.

I rewatched the ep with my dad, he's so flippant. We're watching the scene where Michelle asks if she can talk to Tony and my dad's like "they're operating on his neck! How is he going to talk?" He also said that Gael looks like "an escaped porn star" hee.

It's hard to take things seriously when watching them with dad. He's just so sarcastic.
