Snow has finally stopped
Feb. 18th, 2003 01:48 amOkay, my sis and I were so excited that when we found out, we jumped up and down and high-fived. I'm trying not to think about how far behind my Tuesday class is right now.
Last Tuesday, we had "community day" whatever that is, so no class, and this Tuesday, no class again. It's a once a week four hour class on film sound theory with a lot of reading, of course. I just hope that, since classes were cancelled, my presentation is moved up a week too.
On another topic entirely...I like snow more than rain, at least from a weather point of view. Rain is loud, it has thunder and lightning and can be frightening. Snow, while dangerous, is quiet and it's entirely possible to forget that is snowing until one looks out a window or hears a snow plow.
We had about a foot and a half up here, I could have sled down my front steps. I didn't go back to school last night because nothing is more depressing than being on campus during a weather emergency.
I think this book review just might kill me. I can't read more than a few chapters in the book (Laughing Screaming: Modern Hollywood Horror and Comedy) without wanting to throw the book against a wall. That can't be good.
I finally saw the Breakfast Club for the first time in years. Good stuff.
24 and Gilmore Girls are on tomorrow!! :::snoopy dance:::
