Saturday Update
Feb. 15th, 2003 11:42 amIn real world news. The government has finally caught on that *maybe* they shouldn't be causing such fear and hysteria. Really, you mean that people in CT shouldn't be taping up their windows? It's like people have no clue that houses aren't draft proof. I mean, if something did happen, don't people realize that unless they themselves are wearing level 4 CDC gear there isn't much that they can do?
A terrorism expert was on tv and gave helpful hints on how to survive. Among them were don't drink and drive and stay off icy roads. I just keep feeling that I don't really want to live in a world where I have to worry about being gassed or bombed in the suburbs -- or anywhere for that matter.
Amazingly enough, the weather people were wrong and it didn't snow last night.
A cool show is the new Penn and Teller show on Showtime. It really debunks a lot of things. Last night, they talked about the end of the world prophesies. That somehow made me feel better.
Hope everyone's having a good Saturday.
