Oh, our government isn't paranoid...no. no. not at all. They just chased after two people because one of them had a backpack with a "gun looking" object in it on the X-Ray machine. And closed down the building. Our crack government agents chased these people down and found the horror of -- a halloween costume! Woooo go homeland security.

I'm so reluctantly awake, I think I wrote half my paper with my eyes closed.

Eh, better to be safe than sorry.

I'd be far more worried if they DIDN'T care about something that looked like a gun going through an x-ray machine... particularly if I worked in the building.

What I'm amused at is how much teasing the "female congressional staff members" are going to get from their coworkers because of this.

Yeah, I have to agree with the previous comment. It's almost comical, but really, if it *had* been something for real and nothing was done...

But my question is, how *stupid* can you be to carry anything that remotely *looks* like a weapon into a government office? DUH!
