A long time to sleep

I woke up about two hours ago. I guess I was tired. Had the WEIRDEST dreams, like, ever. Not going into them because they're so bizarre. Suffice to say it had something to do with agents, bugs, singing, destroying bugs, cd's and eminem. Yeah. It's that bizarre.

Get to write fun film analysis/shot analysis paper tonight - wheeee! It's due tomorrow night. I was supposed to get up earlier to work on it, obviously but I? So tired.

Just wanted to say that the 24 premiere ep is even better on the rewatch. I wonder, when do you have to stop cutting for spoilers? I can't remember, exactly. But...since I had one or two more thoughts.

The last five minutes of the episode was as tense and horrific as anything 24's ever done. It wasn't until I rewatched it that I was able to see that Chase was telling Jack that he should just shoot up so that he'd be more "normal". He wasn't giving him permission, he was telling him that if he didn't get his head on straight, they'd never get through the day. It was sort of a pep talk, or at least, Chase saying that he should use the drugs, gave him an excuse to do it.

I would not want to be the first bad guy to come across Jack today, just saying. He totally picked the wrong day to go straight. One of my favorite lines of last night was Palmer telling Anne about how it was gonna be one of those days. Ah, metacomment!

Okay, off to do more shot grids and analysis - wish me luck!
