I went to Waldenbooks today and got a Nancy Drew calendar for one dollar - I think that's a pretty darn good deal. I used to love Nancy Drew, she was the reason I wanted red hair in the first place. Of course, I never got red hair, I got reddish hair, because red never stays in my hair. So, that's why I went blonde instead. At least, semi-blonde and I need to get my hair done again soon, it's starting to be unmanageable. I did get the best hair dryer ever though -- conair ion shine! And yes, I'm easily taken in by vaguely scientific sounding beauty ideas.

Anyone remember the newer covers? I swear her hair changed with every cover, sometimes she was a strawberry blonde, sometimes a copper blonde and then I knew the designers had given up when she started appearing as a full blonde. My favorite of the new series was The Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys mysteries. Those were fun. I loved crossovers at an early age - lol.

Other random thoughts...

For about an hour tonight I was completely convinced that my cell phone was lost and I almost freaked out looking for it. Earlier today, I was convinced I had lost my wallet in a mall only to discover that no, I just couldn't see my black wallet against the black lining of my bag. I'm slightly blind sometimes, apparently.

It's so cold out here I heard that we're going to get snow all weekend - more snow! The worst part about snow -- the shoveling -- the best part? The look. If I could get the look of snow without the work I'd be a happy gal.

Daily Show was cute today, but I still don't quite get how "Jenny From The Block" was a satire.

Maybe I'll see DareDevil tomorrow, I don't know...the only thing I know for SURE is that I'm not going back to the evacuated theater any time soon.

For some reason, I remember that her hair is *always* described as "titian" lol I guess it was better than 'red' *G*

I used to read those voraciously...those and Trixie Belden books. OMG...that's like...soooo long ago lol

Beldon? Belden? Beldan? Anyway, they're mysteries set in upstate NY, along the Hudson. Trixie and her family and their friends... pretty cool, when you're 12 lol
