Compromise, bend your morals. Have another drink, check the Swiss bank account and buy those thousand dollar shoes. Smile and rise through the ranks, take orders and give them, betray anyone to save yourself. Kiss, kill, and grin as you stab them in the back.
Shoot, stab, feel blood against your fingers, maybe get to like it. Protect your cover, take wrong turns and accuse everyone else. Murder to protect the plan, the one you never understood. Sell secrets, get money, try not to smash the mirror when the phone rings and it's them and you're up. Laugh, seduce, have another drink, get swept up in your own misguided feelings, make more wrong decisions, betray again and smile as everything goes to hell.
Trick and deceive, wear short skirts and high heels, spend a few reckless nights, one ill-advised weekend and numerous stolen moments at work. Take out the handcuffs, you're always in control.
Think about his hands on your skin and how he looked right after your first kiss...depressed but willing. Remember how you used to flirt shamelessly and wind up against the wall of some empty office. They're at a meeting, they're at lunch, they're following up leads...his mouth near your ear and for a few moments you forget what you have become.
Lose him and try to find another. Never be sure about your actual feelings.
Order his death like Chinese food and feel nothing but fear.
