The winner of the stupidest thing said lately? Pat Robertson, who said that he thinks that the state department should be nuked.

From the article: "I read your book. When you get through, you say, 'If I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom, I think that's the answer.' I mean, you get through this, and you say, 'We've got to blow that thing up,'" Robertson said during the interview.

Yeah, um, wow. Why isn't Ashcroft investigating *HIM* instead of college students with anti-Bush stuff on their doors?

Everytime I hear about that guy "open mouth, insert foot" I am shocked he's still around. I think, "Who the hell pays this guy any mind?" and then I remember all the people from my childhood and high school who likely do and I convulse.
