It's finally warm in the house

Our heat is FINALLY fixed - which means I got to sleep last night and didn't wake up around 5 shivering. It was such a good thing. I am also reading this handbook on directing and it's teaching me so much about editing, oddly enough. Actually lays out the Pudovkin vs. Eisenstein methods and the importance of framing. I'm enjoying it muchly.

Hope to go see School of Rock today and hopefully *hopefully* will get to watch 24 preview in theater! I saw Whale Rider yesterday with roxannlette and thriftygoddess. It was great getting to hang out with both of them. Hopefully we'll be able to do it again at some point in the not too distant future. I'd really like to go down to NYC sometime :)

However, being who I am, I got us lost three times -- including the search for the mythic "Pizzaria Uno" somewhere in White Plains. I'm beginning to think it was the Brigadoon of places to eat.

Anyway, Whale Rider was great and uplifting and sad and beautiful and another movie I fully rec to all of You.

Have LOTS of fun Kiefer movies to watch during Yom Kippur - incl. Behind The Red Door and Flashback not to mention my S2 DVDs -- yeah, that'd take my mind off food for a few hours ;)

Quick question - is it possible to feel pain in a tooth that doesn't exist? Cause I got my wisdom teeth removed four years ago but I'm having pain right in the section where a tooth WOULD be. Ugh.

Pizzeria Uno does exist, it's near the American Museum of Natural History and a highly fantastic place to eat!

*glomps all the Kiefer DVDs and walks off with them* Ha. :P

There are nerve endings in your gums and teeth cavities (why do you think it hurts when you knock out a tooth?). So it's entirely possible to feel pain (although I hope it's not too bad... :()
