These are gonna take a while.
1)In a hand-to-hand fight between Jack and Tony, who would win? What about in a gunfight? A foodfight?
Hand-to-hand? Oh, we would, we'd be the winners, regardless of outcome. No, wait...hmm, good question. I think that Jack would win because he's a little quicker, but it would be close, he's won in the past though, but that wasn't really hand-to-hand, that was just a quick swipe. Tony has different moves, it would really depend on many factors, but I'm going with Jack. Gunfight? Would they be using the same type of gun? Jack is more likely to shoot, Tony's more likely to go for a less vital area. They'd be well matched there. The foodfight winner would probably be Tony just because I think his hands are slightly larger and he's taller. He might have an advantage in hand-to-hand too...but honestly I think in a foodfight the winners would be anyone watching it laughing hysterically.
2) If you could write the perfect novel, short story, screenplay, play, poem...which would it be, and what would it be about?
You ask difficult questions. I think it depends on genre. I'd love to write a mystery novel, if I could write short stories like Kurt Vonnegut I'd be a happy girl, "perfect" is such a difficult thing to define. I think my perfect whatever genre though would be mystery or science fiction. It might also be a comedic story about a female Woody Allen type. I think I'd most want to write either the perfect screenplay or novel.
3)Which movie do you wish you had written?
All About Eve...the dialogue, the brilliance of that movie just kills me. I'd also love to have written The Manchurian Candidate, because I love the twisted plot of that film. More recently, Waiting for Guffman and The Hours...although ask me tomorrow and you'll get a different answer.
4)You're having a dinner party. You're allowed to invite between 5 and 10 guests. Who are they, and why them?
You ask really difficult questions that make me think. Okay, cheesy answer but totally true, I'd invite my friends, because really, I don't care what famous or infamous people have to say. However, for purpose of question and if I could invite anyone?
Bill Clinton - I find him fascinating, he's brilliant, and knows a lot about everything. Also, he'll always be my President.
Kurt Vonnegut - I adore him, seeing him speak live was one of the top moments of my life. His take on the world is just excellent.
Alfred Hitchcock - The forefather of modern suspense, he could twist an audience like no one else.
William Goldman - Another person I adore, the man who made me really want to go into film, his books are excellent, and is writing is great.
Kevin Smith - He made geek mainstream, plus I think his views are interesting, though I have to admit his Jennifer Lopez stance has me wondering.
Michael Moore - Outspoken, not afraid to take on the world, a real true fighter of injustice.
JK Rowling - I admire her imagination and her strength, plus, she seems like someone who would be very fascinating.
George Seldes - Father of modern investigative journalism, exposed lies in the press, almost single handedly created press criticism.
Gloria Steinem - Mother of modern feminism, sticks up for everyone, someone else I really admire.
Katherine Hepburn - Brilliant actress, strong woman, very admirable, I just adore her too.
I know I'm forgetting people -- if I thought a little harder I'd include more women. (I also limited it to the 20th century)
5) Where will you be, and doing what, in 15 years?
Yipes, I'll 40 in 15 years. At that point, I hope to have a husband, be somewhat settled, recognized in my career (either tv or film production), maybe also have written a script or two. I'll probably be in either NY or LA and hopefully, happy.
Those were good questions!
