catch22girl | A Day At the Races

Busy and yet uneventful day. Went up to the races, saw some horses race (although, you can't really SEE the horses race until almost the finish line - can't hear them either, which was odd).

I tried *really* hard not to think of Dead Heat, but it was a losing battle. Still, I had fun. Everyone won a race too. However, all the predictions were wrong. It was funny after a while, "How wrong can this expert be in this race?" Well, as it turns out, very wrong. Then I started joking in the car on the way back about "And ram truck is in the lead, but look coming up from behind is rocket power, but rocket power is disqualified because it has no legs and is just a rocket with some ears taped on top...and the winner is the cow the aliens just dropped off at the finish line..." Yes, you get a little giddy after a few hours in a car.

Saw DD on Sex and the City tonight. I didn't feel anything when I saw him on letterman but I'll admit that watching the episode, a little of the old thrill was there, which was nice. I want to see the Project Greenlight movie too.
