It's sad - they've stopped trying

I saw Lara Croft II today. It's so sad when script is put together from every other action film known to man. There were lines that were so cliched, even the screen looked bored.

The main guy was hot, but I just had so many questions, like why couldn't I understand what most people were saying. I mean they almost needed subtitles.

I just have one or two really nagging thoughts.

Why didn't she just smash that...map thing instead of actually following it? And...no, I can't even figure out what else to say, the movie hurt my mind. Like, how could her lipstick and makeup never smear? She's kissed, slapped...but her lipstick stays put. I'd like to buy some of that. But yeah, pretty much, that's it on the thoughts about the film.

I found "Shoot Out" by Peter Bart and someone else at a cheap bookstore. I jumped up and down and I found something about producing in Hollywood. I'm sick of not having anything to read. I've also started reading Anita Blake, now on book three...lots to go. She's a pretty darn cool character.

Hm, thanks for the review. It's always good to hear what people think, before I plunk down the bucks only to be disappointed.

I only paid about three dollars so I couldn't complain too much...but yes, avoid it, unless you like bad movies :)
