I hate mornings
Jul. 30th, 2003 08:16 amThis weather is killing me and I stepped on the scale today...well...it was scary, i'm convinced that scale must be broken or I need to start eating much better ASAP. I'd try a no carbs thing but I tried that before and on the second day I looked at my breakfast of eggs and bacon but no toast and felt sort of ill. I can't help it, I come from a family who considers dinner an excuse for having bread. I also probably shouldn't have had that bagel yesterday at work, but I was so tired and I've found that if I can eat, I'm less tired. It's probably not a good thing.
Had the weirdest XF/24 dream last night. Although Kiefer wasn't playing his 24 character, he was just this guy on XF who was spending time with Scully. He wound up telling her that she had to be less lonely because did she have any friends and why was she spending her time pining? He slipped up and said she had a daughter and she's like "I have a son" but, his words totally reached her and she was less defensive. Then, she says "my son can control gravity with his eyes" and he doesn't believe her but when they go into see him sleeping and his mobile is moving in a way that is absolutely impossible, then he has to believe it although he spends time trying to explain it.
This was something I was watching on tv, so my mom comes in and tells me that they've decided to end 24 after this season and I'm like "Oh that's because Carlos didn't want it to continue anymore..."
But then, on XF, this mob guy had a large supply of the acid the clones turn into and apparently it turns metal into gold. Then, there was this giant vat of it, like in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the Gunmen were there. I didn't get to see how that part of the dream ended.
Oh, and I voted for Rich and Cory last night on Last Comic Standing, I was enjoying Ralphie until he just kept screaming the same phrase over and over, and I'm totally convinced that Rich would make a great tv father, I'd watch it and there aren't enough evil kids on tv.
Now, to get ready for work.
