YOU KNOW YOU GREW UP IN THE 80's IF... 1. You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE". I've done that. 2. You watched the Pound Puppies. I loved the Pound Puppies. Especially Cooler. If pressured, I can still sing the theme song. Shush. 3. You can sing the rap to the "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" Yup, can do that too, and I didn't even watch the show that much. 4. You wore biker shorts under your skirts and felt stylish. I had a friend that did that. I never did. But I did wear biker shorts. 5. You yearned to be a member of the Baby-sitters club and tired to start a club of your own. I was never into baby-sitting too much, but I *so* wanted to be a member of that club. They were the best of friends and had great adventures. Sorta. 6. You owned those lil Strawberry Shortcake pals scented dolls. Hmmm...I think I was a little old for that. 7. You know that "WOA" comes from Joey on Blossom. Yup, knew that, used to watch Blossom a lot. 8. Two words: M.C. Hammer Two Legit. Two Legit to Quit. When I was MUCH younger, I and a friend wrote a really horrible rap to send to him. 9. If you ever watched "Fraggle Rock". I had a stuffed Fraggle, it was the bookish one, can't remember her name. I loved the dog, was his name Sprocket? Such a great kid's show. 10. You had plastic streamers on your handle bars. Yup, had those. 11. You can sing the entire theme song to "Duck Tales". Yes, yes I can. I remember the Disney Afternoon well. 13. You wore a pony tail on the side of your head. My hair was too short for a pony tail. I remember having to put my hair up for ballet and it so didn't want to go into a bun. 14. You saw the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" on the big screen. I didn't, but I wanted to -- I was so into them when I was younger. 15. You got super-excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school. We played Haunted Mansion. It was like, you had to answer math problems to survive! And PAWS. 16. You made your mom buy one of those clips that would hold your shirt in a knot on the side. I went through that VERY short phase, yes. 17. You played the game "MASH" (Mansion, Apartment, Shelter, House) with friends at school. All the time! That was such a fun game. 18. You wore Jordache jean jacket and you were proud of it. Yup, and Guess. 19. L.A. Gear..... SO had those, thought they were so cool. 20. You wanted to change your name to "JEM" in Kindergarten.
