I'm a klutz
Apr. 22nd, 2003 04:03 pmThis morning, while brushing my teeth, I somehow got some "crest revuvenating" in my eye -- don't ask. So, I sort of washed it out and then called the company who said to *really* wash it out but who has that kind of time? So I went to the health people here and they gave me a saline thing to use on the eye, but it sort of burned and I didn't like doing it. Long story short - my eye feels minty fresh. I think it'll go away though, or rather I hope it does.
When I was younger, I loved old time musicals. Last night, I saw The Harvey Girls, from 1946. Wow, did that musical have some *really* unnecessary scenes. There was one 20 minute long scene about dancing that had almost no real connection the plot at all. It's sort of like they just threw in scenes and hoped the film would be long enough. There was a commentary track but I wanted to watch the movie -- not hear people talk about casting it.
It's sad when something you remember as being really entertaining is somehow...not anymore.
On a totally unrelated note...I think I'd kill for pasta right now, there is nothing to eat on this campus for Passover.
Oooh...24 is on tonight - eeeeeeeee!!
