Um, I think there are some people who might want to write or read instead of watching this episode.

This public service announcement is from the girl who knew she was in trouble when she saw that the ep was written/directed by previous XF people.

But I agree with you on tonight's (yesterday's?) episode of 24. It made me wince at some of the things they did to Kiefer. I don't think they had to show as much as they showed. I covered my eyes and asked my dad to tell me what was happening. I'm such a wuss. ^_^;; In all, the whole episode was not great.

It's weird, like, they never showed the actual "incisions" but somehow that made it even worse. Extremely graphic without actually showing some things. It was a good episode though. Even if VERY painful. I can't wait for next week.

The widened eyes were what what made me wince horribly...it's the reaction that really makes the emotional impact of a scene.

I've been meaning to ask those that were brave enough to watch it all - did he actually *say* much? It didn't seem like there was much dialogue going on, but I could have missed something important. (And I sent my tape to a friend already, LOL.)

Um, I think after they gagged him :( that he didn't say much, obviously. And they never ungagged him, so I don't know how they expected him to *talk*.

There was that short phone conversation, but beyond that? Nothing. Lots of glaring though.

Hm. Well then I did not miss anything. Thanks. I was wondering if they had broken him mentally/emotionally - if it seemed he had given up. Because to me, that would've broken my heart even more than anything physically done to him.

I know what you mean. I'm not sure. It did seem like when they mentioned how he doesn't want Kim to be an orphan, I did feel a kind of...I don't know. I mean, if you think about it, if you really don't want to talk and want to protect information, the best way to do that is to die. And if you don't want anyone around you to suffer for that information -- same thing.

I mean, I don't think they broke him...I really really hope not.
