catch22girl | Yet another fun Saturday night

I need to learn to sleep.

Apparently, turning nocturnal was not a *very* bright idea. I may need to start taking a motrin or something to sleep, I haven't decided yet, but I start noon classes again next week.

I really enjoyed this week off from the hell that is my modern art II class. I thought it couldn't get more boring, I was so wrong. No offense to anyone who loves minimalism, constructualism, other -isms.

And no, I haven't started the second paper and yes it's due May 1st...I think. I'm not looking forward to it. Especially since I haven't even gone to a gallery show yet and have no idea how to review one.

I keep procrastinating. It's fun. Especially when there's *anything* else to do. I have to rewatch Who Framed Roger Rabbit soon and actually form some thoughts on it for my paper.

Another girly day of shopping. I got a new bag from Banana Republic, I love it because it fits right under my arm and is so cute. I also picked up a new skirt, which both gives me new curves *and* makes me narrower. Always good things.

I need to start going out at night again. I've been very anti-social IRL since late February-Early March. But I am really ready to start having fun again.

I'm also probably getting together next weekend with a friend that I haven't seen in a long time. Reconnecting with old friends rocks!

In further thoughts...

Has anyone ever had the feeling that they're talking to people and they're being tolerated but not really enjoyed all that much? Or is it just me? I feel very strange sometimes talking to people, like I'm trying to fill up space, afraid of lulls in conversation...this could be just me.

Finally...

Did I mention that based on my book review the head of the film department at my school said that "I seem to have a bright future in cinema studies"?
