Monday Morning

Ugh I hate mornings. I need to write a paper on the semiotics of film...this isn't happening, but in my search of the net I found things that make you go hnnnnnn...this is from some UK magazine, found on the TVWOP Kiefer board and oh my yes.

Emmys...grrrrr. I mean, I guess that since they gave the award to Dennis Franz for like a million years they're just now getting around to giving it to Gandolfini for you know, the amazing seasons where he wasn't recognized at all.

Next year man, next year.

The show itself (the emmys) was actually not terrible, which was shocking. Funniest moment of the night, well it had to be Jon Stewart -- TDS WON!!! WOOHOOOO!!!! That made me *SO* happy. And Debra Messing, I love her!

But, the other funny moment was Darryl Hammond as Rumsfeld saying to FOX about "Paradise Hotel" "Do you just send the tapes directly to the Smithsonian or do you transcribe them, put them on metal plates and shoot them into space so that alien cultures can learn about us?" (or something like that)...I almost died laughing.

Off to write paper on thing I don't understand at all.
