The calm before the storm

Yet another fun Thursday in Rachelworld. Saw two movies, "The Golem" more German Expressionist cinema - whee! And "Toni" a Renoir film from 1934. I really adore him, his filmmaking is just amazing. We get to see "Grand Illusion" and "Rules of the Game" next week - woohoo! Such great films. Everyone should go out and watch them, even if they are in French.

My hands are hurting from carrying down all those videos last night. I'm also convinced that my school is trying to fatten us all up so that they can slaughter us for meat (well, not really, but you wouldn't know it from what they serve us...).

A friend took my quiz and said "Well, I didn't know who Kate and Jack were...but I guessed that they were from "24" because you'd never mentioned them as friends." Hee!

Still campaigning for DVDs...might make more icons tonight if I get any ideas :)

Hope that everyone in the path of Isabel is okay and that no one gets hurt or loses power for too long.
