Girls with Pianos

I don't get the "Norah Jones is the greatest thing ever" love. I mean, her song is okay and she doesn't make me want to ram my head against a wall (which is more than I can say for some singers -- I'm looking at you Vanessa Carlton)

It might be just me, but a nice singing voice is not the same thing as having brilliant songs. And after hearing Springsteen's "The Rising" record...well...those were brilliant and he so should have won.

However, I'm ECSTATIC that the Foo Fighters won though! WOOHOO! I used that song "All My Life" for a video project, it worked well for a bar scene. They're one of my favorite bands, I'd love to see them in concert. I used to have most of the first two albums memorized. Plus, they were on both XF soundtracks, how can I *not* love a band that was on the X-Files soundtrack?

Speaking of which...I had the strangest XF related dream last night. Don't read fic before bedtime. It's like pizza - lol.

And I don't really know why I turned off my alarm to see how it ended, either.

Get to work on a presentation today - yea!
