I don't get the "Norah Jones is the greatest thing ever" love. I mean, her song is okay and she doesn't make me want to ram my head against a wall (which is more than I can say for some singers -- I'm looking at you Vanessa Carlton)

It might be just me, but a nice singing voice is not the same thing as having brilliant songs. And after hearing Springsteen's "The Rising" record...well...those were brilliant and he so should have won.

However, I'm ECSTATIC that the Foo Fighters won though! WOOHOO! I used that song "All My Life" for a video project, it worked well for a bar scene. They're one of my favorite bands, I'd love to see them in concert. I used to have most of the first two albums memorized. Plus, they were on both XF soundtracks, how can I *not* love a band that was on the X-Files soundtrack?

Speaking of which...I had the strangest XF related dream last night. Don't read fic before bedtime. It's like pizza - lol.

And I don't really know why I turned off my alarm to see how it ended, either.

Get to work on a presentation today - yea!

It was a weird dream - something about Diana testifying that Mulder was involved in the syndicate. And like the Gunmen ran a shop of some sort. But the weirdest part was that I was trying to tell Scully this, but she was talking about her new boyfriend Teddy and taking a pregnancy test to see if she was pregnant and I asked her if she cared about how she got pregnant again and she said that she didn't care and we had this argument and I kept trying to get through to her.

It was...just...strange.

Oh lord, fuck Norah Jones. Where's Alicia Keyes now? I thought she was the next greatest thing sinced sliced bread simply for the fact that she plays a piano. Oooh, a piano! Big fucking deal.

Then again, Norah prevented Avril from winning ANYTHING so, yay!
