Front page of AOL - 150 possible signals from space. Possible alien life, will find life in next 100 years, same news as always. I guess they think if they can get people to look towards the sky they'll forget problems on earth. Still, go SETI@home.

Horrible mid-east news. Poor people in that Kuwait mall, just terrible...a cinema and other sections blown up by a SCUD according to the news. Poor people. Watching a movie and shopping.

I'm not even going to talk about the POW's and the Marines that were killed. 'Cause there aren't really words.

Had physical therapy - an hour or so of getting my shoulders/neck massaged and having hot compresses and electrical stimulation of the muslces. Physical therapy rocks.

Got the South Park Season one DVD's in the mail. Can't wait to hear the commentary.

Saw Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the making of it yesterday. DVD's rock. But the actors in that movie should have gotten academy awards. They were playing against *nothing*. The making of part shows how they blocked out scenes using giant rubber models of the characters. I can't even imagine what that was like. And they did such an amazing job making the audience believe the cartoon characters existed.

I *really* wish that every time I turned on the news there wasn't more unbelievably *bad* news.

Well, the explosion in Kuwait was at nearly 2am. And while there are still a lot of people out and about at that time, there were no shoppers, no movie-goers, just a few employees. No deaths, only some minor injuries.
