24 and other things

I think I just scratched off a filling. I'm not entirely sure if that's possible. Stayed up *way* too late chatting, but it was worth it. I wish I saved the "Hillary Swank is a woman! AKA The Core Ads" part of the conversation.

But first...24 thoughts.

They kidnapped Kim! You bastards!

Jack seemed so relaxed when he came into CTU, I guess near-death experiences will do that. The Jack and Tony confrontation scenes were great, I hope there are more.

Poor Tony seems a bit on edge lately, I guess it's the whole being in charge of CTU and the track record for *that* job thing.

But something kinda neat happened in this episode, Michelle finally clicked as an actual *character* for me. Carrie went to the school of suspicious glances, I wouldn't be surprised if she was working for the enemy, but I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't either. It's really a 50/50 thing. Still, a meeting about the analysis of an audio tape isn't really the place to have a spat.

I'm not sure if the results are doctored or if the tape is so good that it's indistinguishable from the real. Then again, Carrie was put in charge of that -- and I wouldn't have put someone brand new in charge of something *that* important.

It was nice of Jack to tell Syed the truth before he (Syed) was shot. Still, I wonder when Jack will learn not to trust the voice on the other end of the phone.

What would anyone want with Kate? Really?? I can just imagine the writers going "okay, we need to have Kate with Jack some more...lets have the 7th member of the team force them together!"

I'm really hoping that Nina shoots Kate at the end. That would be great. Oh well, here's hoping.

And Kim...poor Kim. She just stumbles into trouble. Although, I maintain that she would never have forgiven herself if she killed that man. I also think that if the crazy guy hadn't shown up she would be fighting off the store keeper.

And a small late night chat snippet, between me and fyerfly21

Fyerfly21: Hee. Camera cuts to Palmer, reclined in his chair, mouth hanging open, snoring like a chainsaw.
Fyerfly21: "*whisper* Mr. President! You're on! MR. PRESIDENT!"
Catch22Girl: "Uh, oh yeah, my fellow americans, tonight a bomb exploded in california."
Catch22Girl: "But we think that everything is okay. Except for the giant mutant lizard that is making its way to Vegas."
Fyerfly21: "And the zombies. Damn zombies. They're dead. They're ALL messed up."
Catch22Girl: "Sorry, that's just one Zombie, but he was already messed up.
Fyerfly21: Hee.
Catch22Girl: "Um, any one in the marines might want to avoid having sex tonight. "
Fyerfly21: Heh!
Catch22Girl: "So in conclusion, giant lizard going towards Vegas, one zombie wandering around, marines shipping out soon. Thakn you, goodnight."
Fyerfly21: Heehee. And he falls asleep right in his seat.
Catch22Girl: and then wakes up, it was alll a dream, lol
Fyerfly21: "And you were there, Jack! And you, Sherri! Hey. What are you doing here?"
Catch22Girl: LOL. The last hour of last season was a dream too
Fyerfly21: Yup. A warm dream where Teri is happily snoring next to Jack. Hee.
Catch22Girl: and kim is in her room writing "I will not sneak out again ever."

Kim is a moron. An utter moron. She needs to die.

Not only was the time and place that Carrie chose to go at Michelle wrong, it was professionally inappropriate, considering that there were 3-4 agents in there ASIDE from Michelle and Tony and Carrie.

A little, thanks. I have had a headache all day, due to the winetasting at work, and I'm guessing from my sinuses being full as hell...

And I had to work with the world's biggest IDIOT today, but other than that, I'm good :)

Awww, sinuses suck. I just started taking clarinex, not sure if it will work. I hear that nasal sprays help too.

Ugh working with idiots SUCKS. Do you have to work with them every day?

No...just this one guy at the winery. He needs to GO.

The sinuses are because I was out in the damp, cold cellar for 45 minutes yesterday, even though I'm not supposed to be...grr.

Ugh, idiots suck to work with...especially cause any mistakes they make make your job EVEN harder.

LOL no...yesterday was our annual 'employee' day where the winemaker and owner spend the day with us, we close the winery and we go over the last year, new wines etc etc. It's a pretty great day and I LOVE the cellar, but it has made me so sick, my doctor says I can't do my cellar tastings on the weekend anymore. That's my favorite thing there, but it could KILL me so... I guess I can give it up.

Aww :( Great wine or health...it's an unfair choice since, usually, wine is GREAT for your health.

Although not usually where it is stored. Still, health and life are *way* more important than cellar tastings.

Could you go down for smaller increments or is it a pretty much no on any going into damp cold places for any length of time?

My doctor says I can set it up, break it down and do ONE tasting per day. Which sucks because wine club members request my tastings all hte time and want me to pour it. Grrrrr...damn lungs!

There are other CTU Agents? I really have to be more observant - lol.

Maybe something will happen that kills them all at the same time. Even though Kim is a total idiot...a complete idiot, I'd feel bad if she died. But that's mostly because Jack would never really recover.
