Stress or something else?

It's been a while since I've posted.

Since about...Wednesday night I've had some sort of constant headache. Thursday, the left side of my head went numb and my left arm went numb and I went to the hospital. They did all the normal tests including a CT scan and found nothing, which means I wasn't in immediate danger. Then, I went to the doctor yesterday who said she thinks my headache/neck ache/arm pain is from some sort of pulled muscle/pinched nerve combination and told me to take some aleve which isn't really helping the numbness or the headache. Although she also thinks I'm suffering from a really bad migrane which is causing the numbness but that doesn't make sense, since I've had it for about 4 days now. In addition, my left eye feels sort of blurry and my head just feels really heavy in general. I have some sort of pounding in the left temple and an ache in the back. Of course, this is leading to some sort of anxiety attack so I haven't been able to calm down...at all. I'm seriously freaking out pretty much.

I have to get a Brain MRI with contrast done but she doesn't think it will turn up anything. Oh, and the numbness? Happened AFTER I started taking the Effexor which also brought on dizziness AND new headaches - fun! I stopped taking it yesterday afternoon but I think I'm now going through some sort of withdrawl -- which is INSANE since I only took it like, two days!

Arrrgggggh.

Sorry to burden everyone with this, but I'm seriously worried. I don't know if this is stress or something else.
