Okay, now off to freeze on the streets of NYC. I'm going down to the city with my cousin, that should be fun. Then we're standing with my mom, sister and uncle for a few hours waiting for the parade. That should be less fun - lol. Oh goodie, according to weatherbug it's 32 degrees outside - I was afraid it might be cold today. Must dress warmly.
I'll see all you guys later. This is the first thanksgiving where I'll be having dinner not at a home but at a resturaunt, that should be interesting.
Okay, okay, I'm going I'm off to shower - lol.
Watching the beginning of the Joe Schmo Show...so evil. I'm enjoying it so far, LOL. I'm convinced this is what REALLY happens in reality tv.
Oh, so this morning, woke up at 5 am to get to the parade. Got picked up, came into the city. We got pretty good seats - and I talked with someone who actually is going to my former school. Then a woman from Australia who had never seen the parade before but she was really cool. I learned some things I didn't know at all, which is always good.
Saw the American Idol people -- thought of
mosinging1986 when I saw Clay Aiken. Funniest thing? The float he was on was this like candy store place and there was this conveyer belt. Well, these "workers" were moving the candy from the front to the back...and then got messed up...and they started to have too many. It was hysterical watching how these people were trying to get the conveyer back to working order...and they were just stacking these fake candies and then throwing them...it was quite amusing. SO funny. I can't explain the humor actually - lol.
Oh and Ruben's bodyguard or whoever was on the float with him? lol - nice and social - really. The other "social" people, the drivers of the GMC trucks! Dude, their expressions...it's like they were protecting the President or something. Also found out that when Bush visited England they shut down mobile towers for about five miles around him...niiiiiice.
So, yes, today was good :) Tomorrow I enter study/paper hell, which I must do, but I'm too lazy to do - bad bad bad rachel.
