North by Northwest

Just saw North By Northwest for class. I'd always assumed that I'd seen it before - but it turned out that I hadn't. That crop dusting scene is just *amazing* and I'm still trying to figure out how they filmed the ending on Mt. Rushmore, anyone know?

There's a film where a lot happens in two days. Although I could not buy the Eve/Thornhill relationship at all - and that ending is SO jarring. Y'know? But it's a really well made film, a great example of the modern thriller and you can see how it influenced many other people. No one does suspense like Hitchcock, really.

Off to make icons, because I need some that fit moods more ;)
