Saw a movie by Bresson today called A man condemned to death has escaped (in French obviously something different - usually translated as A Man Escaped). It's a really cool little film. It's about this guy who is in a Nazi prison in 1943 and how he tries to escape. It shows his plan, every little detail (it's almost a "how-to-escape" film). Very suspenseful, really interesting and it had this one part where the guy is talking about every morning they get up, go empty out their waste, wash their face, and then go back to their cell for 24 hours. That 24 hours? Perked up my ears. Bad plotbunny, no carrot.
Have to get up in a few hours to get ready for my date this afternoon. He sounds very nice, but I am a little nervous. I'm meeting him in NYC, but I think everything will be okay. We're meeting in front of a comics store, I have to have enough will power not to go in and browse for hours (which I could do, easily). I'm positive he'll recognize me first, because I apparently suck at that game, lol. Then again, there's that moment. You know? That moment before you meet when he could be almost anyone and the anticipation is almost a physical force.
Good thing - I went to COMPUSA today, and they replaced my router for about 20 dollars! YEA! Protection plans rock! I saw this game at the store called "CSI: The Game", I don't watch the show but I was thinking, I bet some people on FL would LOVE this.
That picture
cinesister posted just gets better and better the more I stare at it, not that I'm taking time to stare at a picture of course, no, no.
