New year, new look

I've decided I need to hire a clone for all these things like...schoolwork. I have so much reading and writing to do this semester! I already have a paper that's due Monday (well 2 pages about), senior project stuff, etc. etc. Plus I'd like to have some kind of life - if at all possible.

I think I like the new layout, I'm not sure, but I wanted a change anyway and I don't have time to learn coding at the moment

Saw Cabinet of Dr. Caligari today, German Expressionism - whee! Yes, Thursdays are my "foreign film" day. German Weimer Cinema and then French Cinema since 1930. Today, the projector was broken so I didn't get to see any French cinema, the teacher decided not to make us watch something that was going in and out of focus at an amazing rate of speed. Came home, watched some tv.

I came up with a new slogan for HGTV - HGTV: You really can make a show about anything.

Saw L.A. Confidential two nights ago - hnnn...Kiiiieeeeferrrr. It was a good little fix...can't WAIT for the preview!

First two days of school were pretty good. Went out to dinner with some friends Weds, saw some friends today, good stuff. Hadn't seen a lot of people this summer, and that was really fun. Plus, got to introduce two of my friends to my next-door neighbors and they met the dog. It was great to see my purchase LJ friends! *waves to roxannlette and maverickgirl5*. got to see some good films and even got a giant packet of reading done. Now I just have to get my room in order so that I won't lose anything. And cut down on the sugar, lol.
