I finally found the Friday five website!

1. What is your favorite type of literature to read (magazine, newspaper, novels, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)? This is a tough one. I love novels, obviously, but I also can devour magazines. I guess that I consider novels to be more literature and magazines to be more for getting random information. Oh, and I love film analysis books, but that's really the only nonfiction that I read. And fanfic, I'm addicted to it.

2. What is your favorite novel? Catch-22 by Joseph Heller, 1984 by George Orwell, Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris, Blade Runner: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick, and Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut. Those are all must reads. I tend to have the same problem with books that I do with movies, read too many and they all meld together.

3. Do you have a favorite poem? (Share it!) Grrr...I don't have any poetry books with me. The problems of living on campus.

4. What is one thing you've always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read? This is sad. There was one book I searched for...for years when I really wanted to read it. War of the Chotarr by David Gerold (I think). It was this book series about giant alien worms and I was really getting into it...and then could never find book three. I got over it though. Right now, I wish I just had *time* to read for fun, instead I have tons of things I must read.

5. What are you currently reading? Finally finished the Harry Potter books, picked up a WWII-era book but can't really get into it. Might start a book someone recommended to me. But, mostly, I'm reading snippets of film sound theories, Art History, The Horror Reader and Philosophy of Horror
