Okay, after spending about three hours searching for user icons and reformatting I'm finally happy with the way it's turned out. I just realized I haven't posted anything in months, so this is like starting over.

I'm finally a senior! I'm so excited -- I start my senior project this semester which will keep me very busy, most likely. I'm pretty happy right now, even if I'm sore from working out (my other resolution).

This is going to be the year I learn to drive, I'm putting it down so I'll maybe work on it.

It's way too cold here. It's the kind of weather where being outside for a second is painful and telecommuting to class (when it's about 2 minutes away) seems like a viable option.

Other news... This winter vacation I read all the Harry Potter books and I've actually started to read some of the fanfic. I wish there was a little more gen stuff.

My family bought the first season of 24 and now I'm hooked on that as well. It was amazingly good. There aren't words. We all just watched about two hours a night - sometimes more. After it was over, I felt weirdly empty.

I actually wrote a short 24 fanfic that I will probably post here in the next few days. I think Nina is so cool. I'm currently on the lookout for any good fic.

I just finished a post-Truth thing too - it's weird, somehow I find writing Reyes a little easier than writing any other character right now. Although, I wish there was more 24 fic out there because that's really what I'm craving... for some bizarre reason.

I've become convinced that the executives at FOX spend all their time trying to top themselves on the "how low can we go scale". I can't wait until they finally decide to just spend an hour showing us views from inside a porto-potty. Unless that show already happened.

I can't believe I have to watch an autopsy film in two weeks for my genres of affect class. I'm half tempted to wear my Scully marathon t-shirt. The one with "What Would Scully Do" on the front and "Start with the Y-Incision" on the back. Good times.

I've been reading x-files fic too, but too much of it is way too happy joy joy for my tastes. I miss the darker stuff.

Today a friend called and asked me what x-files episode was on TNT, he told me two things and I got it on the first try -- some things you just don't forget. Then I proceeded to tell him the plot and useless tidbits -- withdrawl is a bad thing.

I can't even believe how much reading I have this semester.

After spending hours on the computer last night I thought I'd try to sleep late. So, now it's 1:48 and I woke up about ten minutes ago - very exciting, I know. I'm debating
about spending this weekend at home (really good artist playing at the bottom line tonight) or staying here and catching up on more reading -- yes, first week of the semester and I'm already
almost behind.

Saw Sleeper last night in class. I've never seen the first twenty minutes of that film, sort of like how in Logan's Run I always manage to come in on the part after they've already started running from the dystopian society. There's a whole list of films that I've never seen before a certain part. For instance, The Usual Suspects, I've only seen the last hour of that movie.

I hope AOL hasn't eaten more of my email, but I got a feeling that it might have. I wish there was a way to check. I should probably call my sister and go to the gym now. That would the logical thing to do. Even though I'm still in massive amounts of pain from Wednesday.
